Are LED turn signals brighter than incandescent?

Yes — significantly. LEDs are 2-3x brighter and consume far less power. They also illuminate instantly (no warm-up). Almost all modern motorcycle turn signals are LED.

Will LED turn signals work without a relay change?

Often no — LEDs draw less current and can cause hyper-flashing (rapid blink). Most installations need a load resistor (cheap fix) or an LED-compatible flasher relay (cleaner).

Are flush-mount turn signals DOT legal?

Most flush-mount LED signals are DOT-compliant and have certifications stamped on them. Verify the DOT marking before purchase. Some look-only signals (no DOT) are race-only and not street legal.

Can I run integrated tail/turn signal lights?
