Do I need a bike-specific device mount?
Yes — bike mounts are designed to handle road/trail vibration. General-purpose mounts (e.g., motorcycle or car mounts) often have insufficient grip or wrong fit. Cycling-specific mounts (Quad Lock, Peak Design, K-Edge) integrate cleanly.
Where on the bike should I mount my phone or computer?
Out-front mount (ahead of stem) is best for visibility. Stem cap mount is clean but device sits low. Handlebar mounts are easy to install but block other accessories.
Are bike mounts waterproof?
