- Follows the look of the Akrapovic exhaust systems for the Yamaha R6, R7, and R1, with a design similar to the Akrapovic exhausts used in the World Supersport Championship
- High-grade lightweight titanium muffler outer sleeve and end cap is combined with a stainless-steel link pipe, headers, and pre-muffler
- Developed to fit the motorcycles lines, a pre-muffler is positioned under the body and hidden by the lower fairings, and the muffler exits on the right side for a racing appearance
- A catalytic converter is incorporated within the system to meet EC/ECE type approval (Euro 5+)
- Is supplied with an aluminum muffler bracket, and it delivers a deep and sporty sound
- Focused on throttle response during the development process and performance gains in the mid and high rev range
- Power and torque increases of 2.2 kW (3.0 hp) at 10,000 rpm and 2.6 Nm at 9,500 rpm, respectively, when tested on the Akrapovic dyno and compared to a Yamaha R9 equipped with a standard stock exhaust system
- Plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required
